If you are coming from out of state and coming by train or plane, you can get from Boston to Maynard in two ways:

Commuter Rail (1 hour train + 10 minute Lyft)

From North Station in Boston, take the commuter rail (Fitchburg line) and get off at West Concord, Lincoln, or Acton. You can then take a short 10-minute Lyft to Maynard.

 

You could choose to either stay in Boston or the Maynard area, depending on whether you want easy travel the day of the festival (stay in Maynard), or more activities to do during your trip (stay in Boston). Check our local recommendations!

Lyft from Somerville (30-40 minute Lyft)

You can take the MBTA Red Line (starts at South Station) to Alewife (end of the line), and then take a Lyft to Maynard. This will likely be more expensive than the commuter rail for one person, but may break even and be easier if you have a group. You can consider staying in the Davis Square neighborhood of Somerville, which has lots of amenities and fun things to do.
